Zia Taqueria

This is Tex Mex! The food is fantastic! Staff is friendly and the drinks are tasty. The manager walked around making sure everyone was having a great time and making sure expectations were exceeded. Best in Charleston without a doubt!

We love Zia and go there frequently. Today we left before we wanted to. When we arrived the music was great and all of a sudden they changed to music you would hear at La Ha or Los Reyes! Not that there is anything wrong with that music, but that is not the atmosphere of Zia! The owners girlfriend did not approve of the music and changed it to this. Not sure if she is trying to create a Mexican Restaurant atmosphere, but that has never been that feel of Zia and we will not be back if that is the atmosphere they are trying to create! I left 3 Stars and really wanted to leave less, but only because of the music. Bartenders are great as usual!! Food great! Drinks great! Music sucks! Bring back MJ Sunday’s!!

Vibrant spot for tacos, burritos, and more. Home of my favorite margaritas in town. We always sit at the bar for a fun full service experience, but the counter service is excellent too.

Stick with what you know and do it well! Zia is always a go to spot. Nachos are weird and parking sucks but everything else is so good if you do not try this you will regret it.

This place was pretty good. The only reason I took off a star is because I wish the menu had a bit more choices on it. The beans were amazing the rice was as well. I didn't drink that night but the bar was packed and people seemed to enjoy their drinks. Our server was polite and helpful. Over all a good time just lacking choices. Food was still good though. Check them out!
