Black Magic Cafe

I went to Black Magic Cafe for the first time this morning at their location in West Ashley. As soon as I walked through the door, I was blown away by the design and feel of the place. It has a great vibe with chill music playing in the background and a very friendly wait staff. I ordered a cup of coffee that was smooth and savory along with the sausage, egg and cheese pancakes...AMAZING! I had an opportunity to chat with the owner during breakfast. He is a very kind, down to earth individual who is passionate about his restaurants and quality in general, from the food to the staff to the design of the building. Great food! cool owner! This will be my new spot.

Black Magic Cafe is a cute spot to grab a bite. Really colorful and inviting. It's pet friendly, which is completely awesome. I don't know about lizards or birds but definitely dogs. The parking is a little on the tight side if they get busy but don't let that discourage you. Food was decent but not great. Drinks, however, were fantastic. I was in town for a mini vacation and noticed there was at least 1 other location so I'm sure they're all about the same. I'd probably return if I was in town again and maybe sit inside next time instead of the patio.
