Sweetwater Cafe

This is a must visit on any trip to Charleston. Awesome service and great food. Had the all meat omelette twice and it rocked both times.

Absolutely great breakfast, the crab and bacon omelette is awesome, with spinach and tomatoes and a bowl of grits. The frosted flake French toast is great also.

So good!!! I have a ton of food allergies and they were very accommodating. Large portions, everything was cooked perfectly. Loved the orange paint on the walls, very cozy!! Waitress was quick and food came out fast, too.

Catfish and grits are off the charts! They were super busy and I think we had a newer waiter, had trouble keeping my water full and forgot to put in my hash brown order. Very accommodating during our wait served us coffee and sweet tea. The only reason not a 5 rating was an inexperienced waiter, don't let that happenstance keep you from this food!!

Excellent! The service can be a little slow, but it's all cooked to order. The collard greens are out of this world!! There are diverse food options, and many are made with a creative flair while staying true to what it is. (For example, the french toast may be offered with a coating of Captain Crunch or pecans, but it's definitely still french toast.) The parking lot needs to be maintained better, and the decor could use some freshening up. Otherwise, would give it five stars. Definitely recommend!
