Black Wood Smokehouse

Pulled pork sandwich was excellant. My husband had the Reuben sandwich and loved it. The service was fast and friendly, Angela was very good, and the prices were on a par with many in the area. We will be back.

Fantastic brisket, pull pork, and wings. You can always tell a good BBQ place by their wings and these are amazing. Service is snappy and served with a smile. My favorite BBQ in town right now!

We got the tasting platter and loved everything we ate! If I were to critique anything, it would be that the banana pudding should have had bananas that were more ripe as the cookies and cream dessert needed more cookie crumbles in it. Other than that, we loved it!

First time there! Half-price wings! Whole rack of ribs! Leftovers, yeah! Great tap selection. Wonderful friendly service. Definitely will be a new favorite spot! ????

I First want to say thank you to the management of Black Wood Smokehouse for their fast response and the way that they handled this situation. I was able to go back to Black Wood Smokehouse today and we my wife and I were met by Kat who was more that helpful. Kat made us feel very welcome and she apologized for what had to experience. The services was great the food was great and we were able to get a taste of everything it felt like. Kat and management thank you for the Excellent customer service My wife and i felt like we were the only ones there and that was great. I also understand that everyone can have an off day and i appreciate the way this was fixed. It shows that you do care about the customer experience. Thank you till next time!!!!!!!!!!

Was there for the first time and was Ignored. As I sat and watched other customers that had come in after me be waited on. The waiter placed a Menu on the bar to seats down from where I was seated at and stated here’s a bigger menu and walked off, to help other customers. As a retired Military veteran I felt that this was very disrespectful to have to sit there for more than 10 minutes and be no where close to being helped. I ended up having to walk out and go somewhere else to be served.and I was really looking forward to eating here and enjoying the experience but it never happened. As the only African American in the restaurant at the time I felt very unnoticed. Thank you
