The lunch menu was amazing. The waitress was very professional and she made the experience exceptional. I gave it four stars because I live in Charleston, however I did not get the Charleston vibe I have in so many of the other restaurants downtown Chucktown. I feel like this could have been a restaurant in any beach town. The food was great especially the hot peel and eat shrimp.
Amazing food and service! Best crab cake I've ever had. Everything is so fresh and this place is much cuter in person than it looks online.
We stopped around 1pm for a dozen oysters and beer. Stayed for the awesome she crab soup and crab salad. The staff is fun and relaxing, the food is soooo good and the oysters and recommendations were spot on. Go visit and spend some time there!
First off, our waiter was the best we could have expected. Cooper was incredibly welcoming and explained the oysters in a way that I've never has anyone explain oyster tasting notes to me, ever-and I'm a huge oyster fan! The she crab soup was to die for and the spinach & artichoke dip was the best my mother and I ever had. The sweet tea basil cocktail was incredibly delicious and I dont normally do sweet cocktails so I was very pleasantly surprised. My mother has the seasonal sangria and it was beyond yummy. I had landed in Charleston literally an hour before coming here and it was a perfect intro. Thanks for a great dinner!
The place is so beautiful. The table setting is pristine. My friend and I arrived at kind of an in between time but they seated us anyway. This meant the place was quiet, we nearly had the place all to our selves. Our server was so attentive but not in a hovering overbearing sort of way. They serve bread and butter (the most exquisite fresh butter I've ever tasted). The food was so delicious. I ordered the she crab soup and a shrimp roll. The soup was loaded with crab! It was really nice. The shrimp roll was exploding with shrimp. The roll was warm and buttered, toasted. It was so tasty. I'd definitely visit again!
