Galpao Gaucho Brazilian Steakhouse

Wonderful meal, all the meats were very flavorful and they kept them coming. The salad bar is also impressive. The homemade sauces they bring to the table are so fresh. Loved the chimichuri sauce and a wonderful compliment to the meats. The lamb chop was amazing and a must try. Definitely will be back again!

I have been to 3 different Brazilian Steakhouses and this is the best by far. The cold bar was amazingly stocked with quality meats, cheeses and vegetables. The quality of the hot food was just as good. I was very surprised because most places over salt but they didn't. The biggest surprise was when they came to the table with grilled shrimp and salmon. This I have not seen before and sets them above their peers and make the price acceptable. As for the staff. They are top notch and very friendly. Management and servers interacted with the guest and made sure you every need and request was attended to. I will definitely return and highly recommend it to people.

If you've been to a Brazilian steakhouse before then you'll know what to expect coming here as far as how the process works with the meat being served to your table. I will say that this place is close to ranking #1 on my list of Brazilian steakhouses that I've been to. Food is excellent and service was even better. It was a tad bit more pricier than others but that's to be expected due to the prime location they're located at in Downtown Charleston. I also like how they require not only masks but gloves when serving yourself at their bomb salad bar. The quality and different types of meat they provide were all very GOOD! We will definitely be back!

Had dinner here with friends tonight and was very impressed with not only the food but also the service. They are noted for their unlimited amounts
of meats and sides but they also have an ala carte menu that they don’t promote very much. Since we are not big eaters, we chose the ribeye steaks from the ala carte menu for $26. Great steaks cooked to perfection! Had the mashed potatoes as a side but they bring such a large portion, it was more than enough for two people. Our server was great and was there numerous times to check on us, as were several other staff. Would highly recommend this restaurant if you like steaks or any of the other numerous meats they serve.

First time eating here. Food was very good. Service was very good except my drink I ordered never come out despite asking twice for my drink. Waitress did keep water glasses filled so I just let it go. Got my bill at the end, paid it and then looked at the bill as I was going out the door, I noticed I was charged for my drink not once, but twice! the drink that I asked for “twice”, (the drink I never got). I just laughed to myself and we left. I should have, but I did not say anything because we were going out the door, I’m sure they would have refunded me. That part was my fault for not asking for my money back for the “drink” I never received. Other than that it was a great experience you have to try at least once.
