Lewis Barbecue

I loved my orientation and interaction with the meat cutting guy almost as much as I enjoyed the food. They tell you what meat cost per pound, and you tell them how much you want to spend. I ordered 2 ribs and a half pound of brisket. Collards on the side. It was way too much/awesome. One could keto easily here.

The brisket was amazing!! Service was outstanding. While I was placing my order, I got a sampling of the burnt end of the brisket. It melted in my mouth.

I would recommend Lewis Barbecue to anyone. We even got a personal tour of the smoke house from Ben. Thank you for going above and beyond for two BBQ enthusiasts.

More amazing BBQ in Charleston. Got the brisket sandwich with multiple sides. Each item is really well done. The location is new and bright and well designed with a nice flow to the place when it gets busy. I'd come back here again.

Absolutely love the brisket. I got the chopped brisket sandwich and it was really good. It was $10.50. A few choices include chopped or sliced brisket, Turkey, pork, and homemade sausage. They also sell their meat by weight. The macaroni and cheese was yummy. Lunch time was super busy but you get your food right when you order. The meat cutter cuts the meat in front of you. Staff is very friendly. Outside seating is also available as they have quite a few picnic tables. They serve alcohol at their bar inside.

We visited Lewis BBQ on Saturday for lunch. For our family of 4 we ordered a little of each meat including pork, brisket, turkey, sausage and one beef rib. All were quite tasty, but our favorites were the brisket, sausage and beef rib. The collard greens and corn pudding were fantastic as well. We also enjoyed the picked onions and homemade pickles. We would highly recommend and look forward to returning many more times!
