Millers All Day

Very popular place with good breakfast/ brunch eats. I had a good chicken fried steak and the wife did a quiche. Both were quite good but not super memorable. The Verde bloody Mary was memorable.... Not good, mind you, but definitely an interesting experience. I'll definitely go back but not the top of my list.

The restaurant itself has a very fun atmosphere. Service was prompt and food came out quickly. The food itself was absolutely fantastic. Prices were reasonably moderate and definitely worthwhile.

Awesome, awesome brunch place in Charleston. Get there early because it gets packed on weekends.

The fried chicken biscuit was awesome. My girlfriend ordered shrimp and grits which were very tasty and also had sausage on them. The corn muffin was crumbly and very flavorful. Prices weren't too bad, but it's certainly not dirt cheap.

They also have a to go counter if you want to get pastries and walk down King St while you wait.

Elite management and staff with excellent food in great environment.

Let's discuss the 5 star ratings system. I believe that in current society rating something is done in two ways five stars meaning everything was to your satisfaction or one star meaning everything else. These are my thoughts...

Five stars. Everything is excellent. Very clean. Superior service and attention to detail. Top quality food perfectly cooked and plated. Staff does what it takes to make sure the customer is satisfied  Five stars is something special. 

Four stars. A clean establishment. Great food with good service. Four stars should be what most restaurants aim for. 

Three stars. The food is acceptable but nothing to write home about. The bathrooms might not be clean and the tables might be sticky. But should still be clean overall. Service might be slow and unpredictable 

Two stars. Dirty. Dishes and utensils that are not clean. Poor quality food with a bad presentation. Very poor service.

One star. Disgusting. Inedible food. Rude and/ or non-existent service.

We were fortunate enough to have Thurston Catering handle our recent wedding, so we knew Miller’s All Day would be fabulous! Even so, we were completely blown away. We had Sunday brunch, ordering waffles, shrimp and grits and the grits bowl of the day. The waffles were an exercise in decadence, with a toasted meringue topping. Their shrimp and grits are the best I have ever had and I have had many varieties though the years. The grit bowl of the day was served with a scrumptious sauce and a perfect crab cake. We split a carafe of delicious mimosas and enjoyed the wonderful food. For dessert, we shared an amazing large slice of brown coconut cream pie. You really have to taste this to believe it. On top of everything else, the service was absolutely superb! Treat yourself and go soon!
