One of the best dinners I've had since I moved to Charleston over 6 years ago. Spaetzle, schnitzel, great salads and desserts, different specials, etc. Intimate setting - great wine list. We celebrated my wife's birthday here. It's been a long time since I visited a place where I was actually EXCITED about the food! We couldn't wait for each course to come out.
My very first visit and I shall return very soon! The owners are incredible and the cuisine is fabulous. I was stationed in Germany and the food is like being there again. The decor and atmosphere reminds me of being at a restaurant in Europe. If you have never been to this restaurant, please book your reservation now! You will not regret it. The desserts are a must as well. Thank you for making Veterans Day special for me. ?????
I can’t say enough great things about this gem! It’s what Mt. Pleasant has been missing...a true European restaurant. The owners treat you like family, the food is superb, and the wine selection is unique and always changing.
Have you tried their schnitzel? If not, you’re missing out. It gives me all the homemade European food feels!!
Honestly, I haven’t had a bad dish yet.
Tausend Dank, Mezzo!
Where do I even start.. this place is a hidden gem. I found it on google and saw it was new without a lot of reviews. We thought we give it a chance. The ambiance is very cozy and romantic. I am originally from Germany. Until now there was no place in Charleston which blew me away like this one. I had the fettuccine with shrimp and my husband had the veal dish. Absolutely on point, both dishes solid 5 out of 5 stars. My personal highlight was the Apfelstrudel with refreshing vanilla ice cream. Amazing! My standards for food are very very high and this is in fact my first review. One day you will have to wait for a long time to get a table here. Stop by and see for yourself. We will be back and try the Schnitzel and the Spätzle next!
