We had a great meal here! The chicken and waffles were to die for. Best fried chicken I had during our visit to the south. The savory waffle was delicious as well. We were skeptical when described but it did not disappoint. The crab & corn chowder was nice and hearty, had a great texture and plenty of ingredients but it could have benefited from some more spices. The redneck rolls were so good. All the plates going by looked amazing as well. The place was packed but yet no wait for us, which was nice. The portions were big and prices reasonable. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star is because our server wasn't really on her "A" game. While she was nice, she was quite slow. The food and atmosphere was great and maybe would have not noticed how slow she was getting everything we asked for and forgetful but we were on our way to airport so it stood out. We will def go back with our next visit to SC.

Had the, oh my gosh omelette, home fries and biscuit. The portion is more than enough and flavors were good. Service from waitress and kitchen were slow. They had a descent amount of customers but wasn't packed and it was overall, very slow. Biscuit was dry but omelette and fries were good. Doubt I'd try again due to so many other options.

Great Southern cooking. This is the place yall! I've lived in Charleston most of my life and thought I had my list of local favorites complete until I ate here. O to the M to the G! This is my new favorite spot for fried pork chops. On another visit, I had an amazing Cod sandwich. Their portions each time I've eaten here are so generous that I always take food home for almost a full meal later. Grade A+++ in my book!

Stopped by shortly after opening on Saturday. Was seated quickly. Ordered from a limited selection of local brews which were good. My partner ordered the grilled grouper, I ordered the bacon cheeseburger. The cheeseburger was finished as requested. My partner's grouper was tasty, but lukewarm, the accompanying Mac and cheese was cold. Trying to be accommodating, my partner asked for only the mac and cheese to be warmed up. It was replaced, but the replacement was cold as well. Hence the rating of 3 instead of 4.

Overall, the restaurant was busy and the dining room we were in a bit noisy, but nothing unusual for a high volume restaurant such as this. Will go back if in the area.

Absolutely incredible!! The food, the servers, the atmosphere, all wonderful! I had the award winning shrimp and grits and sweet tea and left fully satisfied! Our waitress was attentive and prompt. The totality of the experience was great! Highly recommend!
