“This is the EXACT kind of local eats you are looking for. It’s the perfect dive restaurant with some of the best fried chicken we’ve ever had. The buffet is small but plentiful with options besides the fried chicken like: pulled pork, black eyed peas, baked mac n cheese, collards, sweet potato casserole, sausage and rice, and lots of other stuff. We have been coming here for more than 10 years and we make it our first restaurant stop every time. Don’t be deterred by the appearance! It’s well worth the visit!”

“Stopped in for dinner and was very impressed. It was a Saturday night around 9pm and it was pretty empty. Ordered the Low Country Boil and it was out of this world. The flavor was phenomenal, and all the seafood fresh. The single serving is enough for 2 people honestly. Gave 4 stars because couldn't put my finger on unusual underlying flavor with the shrimp that was kind of off putting. The drinks and low country boil was out of this world and so was the service so they are getting 4 out 5 stars. Definitely if you are a seafood person you need to stop by and try the food. Plenty of seating both indoor and outdoor. Nice little place!”

“I went there specifically to get their cream puffs for my Wife for her birthday option over a cake. I never had their cream puffs before ....... WOW ........ They were INCREDIBLE! Lite, airy, filled beyond capacity & the filling was not too sweet & it too was very lite. Having just one was a problem; I got 1 for each guest as that was all they had and they are quite large. If had known they were THAT DELICIOUS, they may never have made it to the party! Good luck eating just one!”

“Just okay...maybe an off night. Called ahead and they didn't mention their A/C was out on a 100° day. They hadn't even set up any fans to help keep it cool for patrons or staff. The happy hour specials were good but limited and the rolls were large. Some unique rolls available with fried pickles or topped with mango, though neither really wowed. Very helpful and friendly service despite a few communication challenges.”

“We love the Chive Blossom...we've eaten there for years and the food and service is always top notch. However, tonight we were treated very rudely by the staff upon entering the restaurant for our 6pm reservations. We were a party of 10...6 adults and 4 children under 5. When we made reservations several weeks a go we said we wanted to sit outdoors so we would not disturb the guests inside, but were told that Chive Blossom does not take reservations for outdoor seating. So, they had us at a "high" table top right in the middle of the restaurant across from the bar...right in the high traffic pattern and it just wasn't going to work for us...and we felt for them. So we then asked if we could sit outside and were told flatly "NO!" After much consternation we were allowed to eat outside and had a wonderful meal with wonderful service from Peter. My advice to Chive Blossom...take reservations for outside. If the weather is bad, then the party will have to look elsewhere to dine. This should make it easier for them and their customers. “It was my first time at Jersey Mike's. I went to the Pawleys Island one. And I have to say their Subs are AWESOME!!! We need one in Georgetown. I ordered a foot long Chicken Philly Cheese Steak Sub. There was enough meat on it for two foot Long's. I ate half and was stuffed. Saved the other half for the next day. U can't beat that. Now it was a bit pricey for a sub but what's the saying "You get what you pay for". And that is so true here I feel you get more. Damn it was so good too!!!”

“Stopped in this week after an appointment up at the beach, so I missed the lunch rush. Nice friendly staff. When I ordered the guy behind the counter repeated it back to me which told me he understood what I wanted. Something I consider good business practice when dealing with customers. Not understanding the sizes, I ordered a giant thinking I'd get a foot long like subway. Turned out a whole lot bigger. No worries though, it kept very well and I had lunch the next day. Overall a pleasant experience.”

“Husband paid $112 for a $12 take out order by mistaking a $100 bill for a $10 bill. The staff realized his error just after he left and called us back on the phone number left on the takeout order. What a great staff!! It’s very hard to find people this honest any more. Can’t recommend them enough! And the salad was great as well.”

“The exterior of the building is very appropriate for a beach town, the interior is very nice with really elegant chairs and lighting. The coffee was good and they got it to me fast. We sat outside at their tables and it was very nice even being that close to the highway it was not loud or obnoxious.”

“Exceptionally great dinner here on a summer Saturday evening. We did not have reservations - I recommend that you do make reservations - but lucked into getting a table without a wait. We were there early (5:15pm). I had the day's special - Hog Fish with grits & corn. Eat My partner had the Fried Fish Platter. We shared Pineapple be Upside-down Cake with homemade pineapple ice cream for dessert. My fish (Hog Fish???) was fantastic. Great meal. The dessert was oh so good. Good bottle of wine. I'd go back to eat there again in a heartbeat. Rustic Table is more of a date night place vs. taking all the kids. Great way to end a nice summer day.”

“My family has been vacationing in the Myrtle Beach area for a couple years now, and this visit we decided to stop at the Hammock Shops Village, where we were excited to find a variety of shops and boutiques, from clothing stores to candy and coffee shops, as well as a jewelery store and a candle shop that I really liked! My personal favorite was the store entirely dedicated to olive oil and balsamic vinegars. But the thing that tied the whole experience together was the atmosphere, as all the shops were secluded, making it like a little village, and the paths between them had plenty of benches, fountains, and flowers. There was something for everyone, and Hammock Shops Village definitely added to the magic of our vacation!”
