Sakura Japanese Steakhouse

Visited on Mothers' Day. They did not have very long of a wait, which was a pleasant surprise. Loved the fried rice and the ginger dressing. Prices are reasonable for hibachi cuisine. My family enjoyed it also, and now we have a great memory of the day.

I have only ordered sushi at Sakura, which has been flavorful and well prepared. The staff has always been welcoming and very attentive. I find this a great option for a quick takeout sushi order. While I have had better (and more expensive) sushi, the sushi here had always been fresh, as well as being reasonably priced.

I love this place. The food is great. The sushi from 5:00-6:30 is half price on happy hour! But the service is BAD. They only ever have 1 waitress on staff and this place gets busy for the happy hour sushi. Literally the only thing that keeps bringing me back is that happy hour sushi. I guess I will just start bringing a bottle of water since I always get my food before my first round of drinks. SMH

The amazing food can only make up so much for how the service was. To clarify im talking about the women who was taking our order/drinks with messy bun (late evening on march 3). Oh we never was even asked for drinks when we arrived after everyone was already there but had sit for us( ?!?!!). I understand the order was lengthy and difficult for any family with kids. I been a waiter before and understand how it can be. The lack of order when food comes out was crazy, which was okay. When the personal chef had to fill the drinks while cooking was uncalled for. J Boy was amazing. Please invested in waiters who have experience dealing with large groups. Point blank i be back here but will ask for another waiter.

This was my wife and I first time here and I loved it. The smoked salmon sushi was a great way to start. It was terrific and you could really taste the smoke. Next up we both had hibachi shrimp and scallops. This to was cooked to perfection. If I am ever in the area again I will stop in again for more.
