(April 3, 2019, 12:13 pm)Starter salad was very good. Fried catfish plate w/ sweet potato fries was very good. She crab soup was okay, i should have started w/ a cup instead of bowl. Service was good. Avg meal per person was approx $20. If you dont mind the price go for it

(March 9, 2019, 3:50 am)Sassafras continues to be one of my favorite places in downtown Greenville! We love bringing company from out of town as they always have amazing dishes with a Southern flare. Their wine list is great and I am always impressed by their service and hospitality. I definitely recommend Sassafras for all occasions - from first dates to family dinners!

(February 17, 2019, 2:58 am)We sat at the bar and had an amazing time with our bartender. It's always good to see that a place has a lot of regulars and it's obvious this it the place! The food was incredible and our drinks were too. Definitely coming back next time we visit Greenville!

(February 16, 2019, 11:34 am)Best dining in town. We've been to them all, and Sassafras takes the crown. Their Blue Crab Nacho's are the best app you have have, with a healthy serving of crab and layered to perfection. Shrimp and grits is definitely a local favorite. Service is top notch, atmosphere is cozy. This place is a gem in the upstate area and a must visit.
