Overall a great dining experience. Very professional service & staff. Wish they offer more breakfast options. We tried to order Chicken Fried steak around 9am on a Saturday and found out they were not ready to offer that dish for that morning (breakfast on that day was 6:30-10:30a). Default (only?) coffee option was the $10 a pot French press. Good coffee, but wish they also have other options. Omelette was a bit bland, wish it was more flavorful.
The food was good, the menu was small but diverse enough that anyone can find something they like (pictured: lobster beignets). The drinks were good, pretty standard
The atmosphere was Wyoming. Like an elegant hunter lodge. And the bathrooms are accessible to the public so expect to wait in line for them.
The location is really good for seeing the falls and watching people walking across the bridge. It will be a really nice lunch spot when the outside is open for seating.
Wonderful experience at Between The Trees. The food and service were top notch. Most every item could be gluten free, with some minor modifications required. Come early so you can enjoy Falls Park and the Grand Bohemian.
Between the Trees is a new Restaurant on the scene in Greenville, SC. As any new establishment, they have some things to work out, but overall experience was fabulous and we will most definitely return. As we pulled up to the Grand Bohemian Lodge, we were pleased to find that Valet parking was complimentary. Walking in to the Bohemian Lodge for the first time was almost enchanting. However, upon our arrival at the host stand, we were advised that although we indeed had reservations (which were made many days in advance) their website does not currently allow for differentiation from indoor and outdoor seating. In this brisk October evening, the only available tables were outside. We offered to wait for an indoor table and were advised that they were fully booked for the evening. We accepted the outdoor seating, and then waited 15 minutes for a server to come to our table. Just as I had folded my napkin to rise and seek assistance, a young man came rushing in apology to welcome us and receive our dinner requests. He was a tremendous server and any discomfort in the wait was long forgotten. His attentiveness to detail, and his recommendations were spot on. He was even able to move us inside to warmth before our appetizer arrived! The food was delectable! The freshly toasted, locally made bread (Rise Bakery), house made butter, and the perfectly sized entrees, were absolutely delicious. Our server, as a final touch, gifted us one of our deserts. We had not asked for any compensation and were surprised, but touched at the kindness. After dinner, we meandered through the Art Gallery at the Lodge. We were especially fond of the framed art dictated "Operatic Chicken". The gentlemen at the valet desk were gracious in honoring our request to take our picture prior to our departure. Thank you Grand Bohemian and Between the Trees for a delightful evening.
The food is worth every penny we spent! The presentation matched the taste perfectly. Our waitress was knowledgeable and genuinely friendly. The were ample options on dinner. The bread was AMAZING. I know it's like "just bread" but really it was more than that. It was an experience. Ultimately, the whole dinner was an experience. We'll definitely be back there.
