“The server was exceptionally nice and very attentive! When we parked, all the lights were off but the open sign was on. They were open but no customers. No other customers showed up the entire time we were there. We were there for an hour and a half 5pm-6:32pm. We're from out of town so not sure why no customers came in. The food did take a while but we were patient. We had some issues with food quality as my chicken fried steak was served VERY over cooked and so very tough that I couldn't eat it. (See photos) The mashed potatoes were real potatoes without the peel and they were very good. My husband had the fried flounder and he enjoyed it. We couldn't tell if it was actually flounder though. The onion rings were oddly tough and over cooked and seemed a bit old. My mother in law had the chicken fried chicken breast and said it was ok but very dry. She also had the fried green tomatoes. They seemed sliced super thin but had a good taste. The sweet tea tasted fresh and very sweet. The pictures on their Facebook page look alot better than what we were actually served. The portions were small and served on a small styrofoam plate. The restaurant has potential, I just think it could use a makeover and revamping of food quality and serving, plate presentation and dinner portions.”

“This is incredibly delicious BBQ! We had the half a chicken and the chop pork platter. The chicken just falls off the bone and is so tender! Flavors are incredible it’s almost a shame to put on the delicious homemade sauces. We will definitely be back especially since we weren’t able to try the half rack of ribs. Oh and don’t forget to finish your meal off with the scrumptious creamy banana pudding!”

“Service is usually quick and my order is correct 9 times out of 10. Only complaint is that their milkshake machine is down more than it's working. Sometimes months at a time. If it's due to needing replacement parts that falls back on corporate I assume. Bit the staff is great over all.”

“A five star except.... Service is great. Prices are good. Breakfast is very good. Love the pancakes with the touch of vanilla. If you get lunch or dinner I suggest the sandwiches. If you are looking for homemade taste for meat and 3 I don't recommend this. Better options for that within a mile. Meatoaf was decent but the vegetables were not very good. Instant potatoes and gravy. Cheap breaded okra out of a bag and cheap, fake, weird tasting cheese in the squash casserole. Breakfast or sandwiches for sure but no so much the other. Head toward TR a mile for that.”

“Food was only so so but they are finally serving alcohol so that helped. They have draft, bottles and mixed drinks. A good selection of Mexican beers. Food was bland and uninspired but not too bad. I have had worse and much better. Salsa was decent. I considered the prices high for the quality and taste of the food. The service was great and the staff was friendly. I'll try it one more time and hope it's more flavorful next time. Worth a try.”

“The food is just as amazing as you think it is!!! The mac-n-cheese was the BEST I've ever had outside my own kitchen. And the fried chicken was just stupid awesome! We drove 45 minutes each way to check this place out and it was WELL worth every minute of it. The staff was super nice and the place is very clean. We highly recommend you give the place a try!”
