Sidewall Pizza Company

The hostess was fabulous, concerned about sitting us at a table in full sun without our permission. I used my "free pizza" birthday coupon with no fuss at all. Service was a little slow, but I overheard they were short staffed, in both front and back of house, so I'm assuming that's why. The food was worth the wait though! Not only was the pizza delicious, they definitely loaded it up with toppings. (I can't comment on the alcohol selection as I don't partake.) Overall, it was a terrific experience, and I look forward to going back again soon!

The location of the Sidewall Pizza I visited and the time of day make all the difference in the experience. I used my birthday coupon at the Travelers Rest shop to order a meatball pizza for lunch. It was fabulous! Early lunch is preferable to evenings at Sidewall (downtown GVL) where young families gather to add to the cacophony of traffic and kitchen sounds. I like that there is an outdoor option of seating. Parking lot issues would dictate that you leave your 15 passenger van at home and either ride your bike or bring a Smart car.

Very delicious food. The atmosphere is alive which makes the experience so much better. There are plenty of pizza choices on the menu, and if none please you, you can build your own.

Place is busy, but worth the wait, highly reccomend!

I live in Travelers Rest, SC so this review is for that location. Me and my family eat there several times a month. The pizza and breadsticks are amazing! It’s a little pricey but the food is always consistently good and the staff is always very nice. I did have one bad experience there recently. The quality of my pick-up order wasn’t good. I was concerned because it’s always good so I emailed the owner and he called me within the hour. He seriously called me himself, he did not email me, he called me. He offered me things that were WAY above and beyond anything that I could have accepted and he was so sweet and apologized for the inconvenience. He comped my meal for that night too. I was blown away by his customer service. My experience with sidewall has always been amazing and I plan on being a customer as long as they are open! Good job Adam and the team at sidewall!

An excellent place to sit and eat delicious pizza. I love their vast selection of pizzas, as well as the fact that you can just make your own. The atmosphere is great and it always seems to put people in a good mood. The only thing greater than the food and the atmosphere is the INCREDIBLE sweet tea.This place has become a family meeting place for us and it's hard to resist the great food. Despite the occasional lack of staff, it's hard to pass up a slice a pizza from Sidewall Pizza Company!
