“As a boricua, you can imagine my surprise when I found out there was a Puerto Rican cafe right in my backyard. How did I miss this? I thought I was the only Rican here! With imported coffee coming from the homeland and coquí frogs decorated around their menu, I felt right at home. I can’t wait to show my other family members this spot when they come to visit. Not only that, but their coffee and baked goods are delicious. The coffee beats any other shops around, there is no bitter aftertaste. The pastelillos are flaky with the perfect amount of guava. My husband loves their quesitos as well. If you are an iced coffee lover like I am, the Stumphouse Tunnel or S’more, are an absolute must!”

“A hidden gem. Driving by, I had seen the sandwich board for “Mary’s Grill” and kept scanning the nearby storefronts trying to find it. Finally I purposely went looking for it after stopping for gas. This is a food trailer underneath the billboards by the Ace Hardware. It’s almost completely hidden to eastbound traffic. I stopped there with the wife two days later. Folks were pleasant and courteous. We tried one of the pork tamales ($2.75) and a couple of the passionfruit (maraculla) aguas frescas. We were very happy with the flavor and seasoning of the tamale. It was very tasty, and the aquas frescas were of a generous size and very refreshing. We decided to try their tres leches cake as well, and it was very good. Besides the trailer, tables have been placed under canopies to provide a place to eat protected from the sun. I believe there was a porta potty there as well for restroom needs.”

“Pretty great atmosphere in terms of the look and feel. It's very new and clean so 5 stars on that! The food is very unique and good! However, the options are slightly little limited, and the staff are sometimes friendly and sometimes not. Regardless of how busy they are, the waiter seems to rarily come around, and I have ever only had one "nice" waiter in my 5 times here. It's totally worth it to go, but it needs a little work to be a 5 star! The patio outback is very nice as well! There are not many kids' choices, but nothing is super inviting for kids either. A location in a city would do well! Here in the mountains, there are more families, so more options might help.”

“A unique Mexican restaurant that stands out from the rest. Not only is the decor refreshing and updated, but they offer a menu that is different than the typical generic ones you see around the Seneca area. Our server was very kind and welcoming and was patient as I practiced my Spanish with her. My husband was thrilled to see they had elotes and wished for another! I ordered their suizas and the shredded chicken was perfectly seasoned pairing well with the crunchy enchilada. Despite coming before their liquor license arrived, I am looking forward to trying their drink menu as the descriptions for each one sounded fantastic!”

“I went to Whimsy Cookie for cookies for a baby shower. Best decision…. the cookies were perfect. The girls were amazing in taking the order. Sent me text of suggestion on design. Follow up quickly when I asked to increase the order. The cookies were package securely for transporting to the event. Not only were they designed perfectly they taste amazing! They were a huge hit at the shower! I will be ordering cookies again from Whimsy Cookies in the future.”

“I'm from out of town so I was extremely surprised to see a Korean restaurant here in Seneca. The food is very delicious. More on the sweeter side but I believe that's to appeal more to local people. The service is fantastic. They were very attentive and quick! This is my new go to spot when I come into town. I hope they do well!!!”

“I recommend eating here! Cute, clean, unique place; yummy food in a small town. Also appreciated they had non dairy milk options and outdoor seating. Just be mindful of how busy they are vs. the number of their staff. Their staff was very nice but obviously outnumbered so it took an hour to get the food. I could tell they were doing their best tho.”

“Drinks are good. Food menu options are absolutely terrible. 15-20 Chicharones in a basket for $9, a Bologna Sandwich for $10, 2 tacos for $13. The menu needs a serious makeover.”
