“What can I say, it's a Chik-fil-a. The food is good as ever, however due to the nature of this facility, the wait times are usually atrocious, seating is limited, and the food is not always as fresh as I've experienced at other restaurants under the same brand. Being a smaller establishment on campus, don't expect the full range of this chain's menu. This location only has the most popular items.”

“Good food, fairly fast service, and all around decent. There is basically no seating here however. I have had good service and nothing but good experiences at all times of day and even late at night at this location. By far the most affordable dining option on Clemson's campus, but definitely one of the higher quality as well. I have eaten here regularly for years and never been let down.”

“Bustling bagel shop in the Hendrix Student Center. They have freshly made bagels that you can enjoy in a variety of ways. Either simply as a bagel and schmear or go bold with a bagel sandwich. This shop also offers several choices of fresh squeezed juice and ready to go meals. Perfect place to stop by for a quick coffee or espresso before heading to class. They are a small shop that can get quite a line during final season or between blocks.”

“Long lines only because it's good. Quick service though, even still. Hendrix has the '55 Exchange (ice cream shop) on the other end as well, which makes the food court that much better. Make sure you at least get the Orange Chicken once at Panda! They don't keep that massive pan of it there for nothing.”

“Great tasting food at reasonable prices. A colleague and I went to IHOP to have breakfast at lunch time. The issue that I had was that they were out of milk. But no problem, our server ran across the parking lot to the grocery store and picked up more milk. The food was really good and tasty. I have no complaints about my Belgian waffle. Overall the restaurant was clean and access to the restaurant is easy.”

“Good food and atmosphere. To get to the restaurant go to the right on the porch of the Elkmont store. I had the Elkmont Club with a side of potato salad and it was delicious! We also had the chicken salad sandwich and it was excellent as well.”

“Online ordering takes too much time. They could take out about 40 micro-options. Alfredo sauce and parmesan garlic sauce are two in the same. I also, didn't need an option to pick from if I wanted my crust garlic or not under specialty order. I do love the texting option I receive on account of a play by play what's going on with my order”

“Food was good, waitress not so much, we had to ask for menus as she walked up and asked what would you like. She sat down in the booth to take our order, and we had to take our drinks up to the counter and ask for a refill. Was surprised our order was right as she kept writing it down wrong. But the food was good.”

“Great Diner food with very fair prices. I have enjoyed eating here and the food is exactly what you'd expect from a classic American diner. The restaurant is quite small, but has nice decorations and you can tell it's a staple of the community. Remember to bring cash however, as cards were not accepted at the time that I went.”

“Delicious food and great service! We came here for the first time on mother's day. It was busy, but we didn't have to wait long to be seated! My family and I will definitely come here again!”

“If you want some decent pizza it's not a bad place. You can get better pizza at other places for the price. My girlfriend found plastic in her spinach ravioli and they did try to give us a dessert to make up for it but we were already full. So we still ended up paying full price since we turned down the dessert. So by finding plastic in the food I feel it's safe to assume it's not fresh which makes me question that $15.99 price point. All in all I feel it's high prices for average food.”

“We can’t say enough good things about our evening at Rick Erwins. It was an A+ experience from start to finish. My husband and I were traveling from Tybee Island to Clemson to pick up a puppy from a local breeder. I researched where to eat and chose Rick Erwins. I absolutely made the right choice! I have always believed that an evening out starts with making the reservation and that was the case with Rick Erwins. I requested a quiet table since I have some hearing issues and the delightful young woman who made the reservation assured me that she could accommodate the request. We were seated at an end table and, while the restaurant was jam-packed at 7:15 on a Saturday night, we could easily carry on a conversation while enjoying our drinks and dinner. The service was outstanding, the restaurant’s atmosphere and interiors are lovely, the food was delicious and the craft drinks, suggested by our knowledgeable server, were on the mark. It is obvious that the staff are all well trained and that they enjoy their jobs. Having worked 35 years in the hospitality industry, I appreciate and acknowledge top notch service and that is what we received at Rick Erwins. If and when we return to the Clemson area, we will definitely eat at Rick Erwins again.”
