The Pot Smoker BBQ

I ordered the pulled pork plate. Below are my comments.

Pros: Healthy sized portions, nicely seasoned green beans and loved the mac and cheese.

Cons: The pulled pork was served cold and I personally didn't find it to have the smoky flavor that I prefer.

Great BBQ spot. Pulled pork was nice and juicy with a great smokey flavor. Great sides with generous portions. Friendly staff and great service. Food was served promptly. Multiple BBQ sauce flavors to choose from with spicy options. Cozy dine in area. Highly recommend.

I'll start with the positives. Food was good. Prices affordable. Now the negative. The person that took our order could certainly use some training on greeting customers. He had zero enthusiasm and barely looked at us. The windows need cleaning. And the "back" entrance is horrible.....the staff were out there smoking and on the phone. Cigarette butts and containers along the sidewalk. It gives a very bad impression.

Their food is absolutely delicious and the employees are great... my kids really wanted lemonade after a day at the zoo, but they were out - one of the guys actually went down to the grocery store to buy lemonade! You don’t encounter service like this very often. One caveat, I wish they had more of a selection when it comes to the entrees.

WOW! Happened upon this place walking downtown. Super nice folks inside but the Q is what makes this place outstanding. The meat is so flavorful you do not even need to have a sauce on it. However, one of my favorite things to do is try all the different sauces. All the different styles were on point and in the end the hardest decision was if I should eat a bite with or without them. I will definitely find my way back here.
