Had the BBQ sandwich with the gold sauce which I was nervous about, until I was eyeball deep into that thing with gold sauce covering my goatee snacking my lips like a cheap cartoon coyote. “This is without a doubt the best Chinese take out restaurant in Columbia!! It doesn’t look like much from the outside when just driving by, but don’t let that fool you. “Very limited menu but everything I've ever had at The Kraken has been great. They have always had my favorite beer on tap when I've been there (New Holland's Dragon's Milk). We sat at the bar this visit and the bartender was very attentive to us. Will definitely be back again.”

“We went into this Hardee's and there were only 2 employees working. We were a group of 18. But these 2 gentlemen did not panic. One started taking orders and the other guy cooking and putting together. To make a long story short, these guys were great. They deserve a raise. “My husband had the Big D sandwich, which he said was absolutely delicious! He also had the Carolina Nachos, which weren't great. They were freshly baked chips topped with cold chili, shredded cheese and sour cream. Would be better warm. I ordered two cinnamon rolls, the Wild Berry & graham cracker was delicious. It was fairly dark and crunchy around the edges, but still good. I also got the Black Pepper Maple Bacon cinnamon roll. The menu says this one was featured on the Food Network, but I'm not sure why. The roll was good, but it was all sweet and no salty. I could barely taste the pepper and the bacon had no flavor whatsoever. I might return again to try a sandwich, but as others said, parking is awful and it's not worth waiting in line if you go on a weekend.”

“This is the best local pizza if you are looking for normal pizza. The crust is right, the sauce is good, and the toppings are always perfect. Specifically I get a meatball and onion pizza and their meatballs are ridiculously good. Also, you have to try the stuffed pretzel with the mustard. It's phenomenal! While our family prefers to have a good-sized meal with various food groups including a heavy dose of vegetables, we just can't get that here. The flavors of our tacos were superb but a bit strong. The parking lot is small and awkward and is probably impossible to navigate on a weekend party night. If you want to take friends out for a loud party bar restaurant, this might be your place though.”
