“This was the second time at Los Carnales and both times were so yummy! The first time my husband got the Molcajete and asked for it in the authentic molcajete stone bowl and it was amazing!! This time we got the fajitas Hawaii and the birria. So yummy and authentic! We highly recommend. It is definitely a hole in the wall, casual vibe but I hope this place sticks around. I’ve always been hesitant to try the new restaurants that pop up in this space but Los Carnales was amazing! Please go give them a shot! (I was surprised to see some negative reviews, because my family and I had wonderful food here! And my husband is Mexican so he knows good Mexican food haha.) also the prices are great!!!”

“Solid experience! We tried the hotdog & fries meals and they didn’t disappoint. I had a hotdog all the way minus mustard and he had two hotdogs, one all the way and another with just sauerkraut. The flavor of the chili is so delicious. The buns were 10/10, fluffy and the right thickness. The fries are like potato wedges but not as thick. They’re SO GOOD. I could eat these fries for days. 10/10. The Carolina Made drinks were a great addition to the meals. I will for sure be back!”

“First let me get this out of the way. I want to support small businesses. I go out of my way to Patron small businesses. I'm in the restaurant business and graduated culinary school. That being said, there are certain things shouldn't have to be said. For example: Asparagus stalks need to be trimmed properly before cooking. The base of the stalk is inedible. If the word "brisket" in the name of your restaurant, the brisket should be moist and pink and delicious. You can see the attached pictures for examples. No I did not bring this up to my server as I was very hungry and consumed my food. It's also not the waitresses responsibility to cook the food. Limiting someone to ONE trip to the salad bar after they paid for an entree is pure comedy. The wait staff was very polite, clean, and professional. The facility, while clean... had nasty sticky ketchup bottles on the tables and child booster seat that hasn't been cleaned since the 90s. This review reflects my opinion based on today's visit. I may update my review in the future if I ever try this establishment again.”

“One of the best Asian restaurants in SC! It’s on the smaller side which I can see causing a wait during rush hours. But to my surprise, they were able to manage the line efficiently and our food came out pretty fast. The ambiance is nice and cozy with fun paintings on the walls representing Thai culture. Plenty of seatings and kids friendly. The menu is nicely done - they focus on soups, salads and Vietnamese sandwiches but they also offer a special Thai dish that they rotate each day. For appetizer, we had papaya salad and shumai (steam dumplings). Both were tasty and authentic. For main, we had roasted duck noodle soup. It’s a 10! The broth was so flavorful and the duck was delicious. It’s really hard to find a place that offers roasted duck noodle soup in SC and do it right (not greasy/ not salty, not gamey), so I would highly recommend trying this dish. The size was generous, too. Today’s special dish was Khao Mun Gai, poached chicken over rice. We wanted to try it so bad but we got so full so we ordered it to take home and it’s also a 10! Even after reheating, the chicken was still so tender. The rice was well seasoned and it also came with a soup that complimented the dish. They also have Asian desserts! We tried Japanese cheesecake (souffle style cheesecake). It was on point! Not too sweet, fluffy, super soft and airy. We also ordered a crepe cake to take home with Thai coffee. Everything was delicious and the prices were great. We can’t wait to come back and try everything on the menu!”
