“Guignard Diner is a cozy place to go and eat a variety of comfort foods at an inexpensive price. The staff is very friendly and service is always on point. It's a great restaurant for breakfast or lunch. You can even get vegetarian plates, which is a big plus for me. Unfortunately, they do not stay open for dinner...as they close around 3pm, but I would still recommend Guignard Diner to anyone.”

The food is cooked fresh and is hot when you get it. Great local place if you're wanna taste good made by the people of Sumter. A hidden gem but a worth it, you get so much food for at or below around $8 or $9. Highly recommended, just be sure to bring cash as they are cash only for now.”

“Pizza Lane is a good place to take kids to eat, watch cartoons and play a few games. They have a decent selection of foods and toppings for pizzas. Our server was very good, pleasant and attentive. She made sure that we constantly had full drinks and made sure we were satisfied with our meal. She also brought the check and to-go boxes and drink cups without having to ask once she noticed we were about done. We enjoyed seeing the kids having a good time playing and being able to watch cartoons while eating a nice family meal. We had 2 large pizzas(one pepperoni and one specialty...veggie), the kids shared a basket of fries and had ice cream for dessert, along with drinks for the 4 of us(with free refills and to-go). The price was very affordable for everything we got. I paid $44 for everything(that was plus the tip and Klondike chocolate mints). I would recommend Pizza Lane, especially if you have kids with you or come during the buffet at lunchtime or dinner.”

“Great place to eat. I've been twice. Once with a girlfriend and the other with my husband and mom. The first time I got the chicken salad lettuce cups. They come with spiced, candied pecans. When they spicy, they mean spicy hot. It was unpleasantly unexpected. I do not care for hot food even if it's only slightly hot. The chicken salad itself was good; however, next time I'll bring my own candied pecans. My husband had the brisket nachos and devil dusted eggs and thought they were scrumptious.”

“Going to Hampton's is a treat for the taste buds, All their dishes are prepared with great care and attention to the diners wants. I especially love it when the have Rack of Lamb on the Menu, you either know how to prepare it right or you don't and Hampton's gets it right in my opinion, you don't need Mint Jelly. We like Rafters to get great drinks, small plates and relaxing conversation. Their wine selection is very comprehensive.”

“Tony's is a great place for pizza and subs. My family lives in Sumter and whenever we want to go out for a family night, we go to Tonys. I remember asking my niece a few months ago why she ordered a sub... "the pizza is so good, why would you ever order anything else?!" Her response was perfect, "try this..." Now when I go, I get an Italian sub AND a slice of pizza. I always say I am going to take half my sub home (but tbh, it's so good, I always eat it before we leave). I live in Columbia and don't mind driving an hour to eat at Tony's with my Dad, sister, nieces and nephew! As long as you don't try to eat salad while everyone else gets subs and pizza, you won't be disappointed!!”
