Good Life Organic Kitchen is a health restaurant in Fort Mill area. It has several vegan options which is a rare find in this area
I’ve tried the sourdough black bean burger with the side of home made fries and it was very good. The fries are fresh potatoes hand cut by the staff. The food comes unsalted which very good for your health but if you’re like me and love salt on your fires you can ask for salt. They have Himalayan salt!
I also had the Golden Glo smoothie bowl with banana milk. I thought that was good as well.
The power balls are fantastic and they have 3 varieties that are vegan.
The staff is super friendly and I’ll be sure to come back here.
I always drive by this stretch of Fort Mill and I was excited to see this restaurant pop up! I finally went and ordered the sweet potato black bean burger with a side salad.. it was SO good. The business was cute and clean inside and had a very welcoming and warm environment. The workers were so nice as well. 10/10 recommend!
Delicious!!!! I’ve had the black bean sweet potato burger and the cheesy guac toast they were so good! Also, the energy balls are so yummy!
Looove them already💚. The food was wonderful; so many healthy vegan options! I decided to try the Sweet Potato & Black Bean Burger with vegan cheese and vegan chipotle mayo on gluten-free artisan multigrain bread, and a side of their vegan breakfast potatoes. Yummm!!! The vegan chipotle mayo definitely enhanced the delicious flavours of the burger. The breakfast potatoes were cooked well and were seasoned nicely, with little to no salt (which is a plus in my book😉).
I was also served a complimentary shot of the “Berry Nutty” smoothie I believe it’s called. I’m not a big peanut butter fan (more of an almond butter gal myself), but this shot was very well balanced; the peanut butter did not overpower the other flavors of the smoothie like it tends to do sometimes. Worth noting, if you’re vegan, just make sure you sub out the bone broth protein for hemp protein instead.
Super cute interior, they even have a small kids corner! There’s also a little nook for relaxing and maybe getting some work done. The people working there were so friendly and informative. Dawn* was such a sweetheart; she brought warmth to the place for sure. Overall, loved the welcoming vibe. This restaurant is definitely the breath of fresh air our growing town needed!
As an added bonus to some (including myself), it appears that they are a Christian business; “The Fish”-type music was playing over the speakers, and the sign for the restaurant, when you first turn into the parking lot, has John 14:6 written on it : ) I can easily see this place becoming my weekly hangout after workouts!
Wow is all I can say. The food, smoothie and energy balls are so tasty. You can really tell that the ingredients are high quality. Everything is so clean, the staff and owner are super friendly. Highly recommend.
