“We ate here this past Friday and we can't wait to go back! This is a very good restaurant, with great southern and seafood cooking. The bartender, I think his name was Sam was beyond exceptional! He filled us in on the vast menu and gave us a few recommendations that were on par! He made us feel like we were at home and was very attentive to our needs. Normally, when we go out to eat we have to tell our server/bartender what we need. With Sam, he was just on top of things and was on point! We will be back and back again. “For a fun and friendly game of Russian Roulette I like to walk into places that have low traffic and older patrons. Like much older. Like senior citizens. So I'll scoot into York's public library through the in door, and drop off my family's books, and scoot right back on out through the out door. All without a mask. Not at this place. Come for the Blimpie's knock-off... Stay for the sugar cookies (scads better than Subway's). Wear a mask. 'Cause none of the people in here are. Not-a-one.”

“First time here since this location reopened as Towne Tavern. We sat at a high top in the bar. The bartender was excellent and attentive. We had a shrimp appetizer and main meal between us was fish and chips and the salmon with mashed potatoes and broccoli. Food was good, nothing wrong with it at all. Not particularly.mind blowing but a satisfactory meal.”

“I made a purchase at the drive thru . Drove down the street and looked in my husband’s box and noticed there was not a biscuit in it . I went back to the store. The manager on duty happen to be at the front. She greeted me with a smile and asked to help me . I told her what I ordered and asked if it was supposed to include a biscuit because I was unsure . She told me yes and started packing my husbands biscuit in a separate box . She was very pleasant and stilling smiling . She apologized for the inconvenience and offered me a dessert I said of course my old man loves pie ???? and I thanked her . I really appreciate her being very pleasant and displaying good old customer service !”

“Good food, but overpriced. I had a BLT and my husband had a hamburger. The wheat bread on the BLT was excellent, but the burger was small for the price. Everything on the menu seemed at least $1 more than it would be at any other similar restaurant. Except the steak salad, which was $5 more than most places. The service was good, but I think ours was her only table because she came back way more than necessary.”

“I love everything about this place! It's a perfect little slice of eccentric and welcoming. The food is impeccable. Theresa the owner is amazing. Beautiful wedding spot too, and the little shop in the front is so cute! There's live music on the weekends sometimes. They close between lunch and dinner but definitely worth the wait. “GREAT OPTION IF YOU HAVE TO BE GLUTEN FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Let me start out by saying I personally have worked a two Mexican restaurants that were in the South West. This place is right on par with the quality of Mexican food in places where Mexican restaurants have dozens of competitors and you can get Mexican food 24 hours a day 7 days a week. They have great quality meats, spiced right and portion sizes are great. All around a great value. The tortilla chips are also not over salted which allows the customer to add their desired amount of salt. They also have salsas that are spicy but not too spicy, not some watered down stuff. They also have a well stocked bar with a variety of Tequilas. Their customer service is AMAZING. They are very accommodating and friendly. You can tell that they have regulars and steady business. They know how to run a restaurant. Check them out!!!!”
