“I've been frequenting this place since it originally opened as "Wings University" quality food and an a really good looking menu in terms of what they offer. Over the years the name has changed to Towne Tavern to follow the parent store located in fort mill. Some aspects and dynamics of the restaurant changed after that and they weren't all that positive. They do offer .55 cent wings daily which is great, however during busy periods you could wait 45 minutes to an hour easily. Otherwise during periods where they aren't busy you can enjoy Towne Tavern at your convenience.”

“This is a great diner. I spoke with one of the people who I am assuming is an owner or partial owner. They have experience in the restaurant industry hence the reason why they have a full parking lot all the time. They know what they are doing very well from a business standpoint. On to the customer service. Great friendly staff. On to the food. Not the BEST quality ingredients or cooking there is some touching up that could be done. Mainly making sure that the hash browns and home fries are CRISPY just by rolling them around the pan a bit in oil/fat and getting them nice, brown, and crispy. Either way the portion sizes are big and things are priced great. THERE IS A REASON WHY THEIR PARKING LOT IS ALWAYS FULL.”
