Best burger we have had in a long time! We come to the SS everytime we go to Deadwood. About 20 min away on S 385 but worth the drive!

Small, out of the way hole in the wall with absolutely excellent food! They boast the best burgers in the black hills and they just might be. And their bacon… 🤤

Excellent place!! Pictured is the patty melt which was very good. They were able to accommodate our big group of about 10! Would recommend

I would suggest not getting the grilled ham or cheese or the grilled chicken…. The grilled ham and cheese did not have enough cheese and the grilled chicken sandwhich was the size of a credit card. Stick with the burgers and fries

I asked for my burger well done and it was delicious and juicy. The beer was ice cold too! This was our 1st time at the Sugar Shack and we will definitely be back. Indoor seating is a bit crowded but still comfortable and there was quite a bit more seating outside and covered.

Awesome staff and food! It's a unique experience, to me at least, to have breakfast and feel like I am in a field with cows super close (no smell or noise from them but you can watch them while you wait), and it started my day off just right!
