Shipwrecks Bar & Grill

The brisket was amazing, the service was quick and friendly. We had a large group and they got all of the orders correct. Great atmosphere and the food was delicious. We had the Western Burger, Bacon Cheese Burger, and Walleye Dinner. All good. Highly recommend if you are in the area!

Small restaurant just 12 minutes from Mt.Rushmore. The food was much better and cheaper than the options found near the Monument. We were glad to skip the pricey in town restaurants for this little gem. The food was great and service was very friendly. It's not big inside but there is also patio seating. The parking area is probably the only downside. It's a little small but looks like it can accommodate enough vehicles.

Great little spot for a meal! Food was awesome and they had music on the patio tonight. It was busy tonight but the wait wasn't too bad!
*UPDATE* 6/2022 get there early as the parking lot fills up quickly! Another hot meal made quickly tonight!

Fabulous place, Kendall at the bar was great giving us some good beer recommendations. The food was good too.
We were staying in the associated Inn and whilst in the bar the owners both took time to come say hello, very welcoming.

Another one of those "don't judge a book by its cover" places. Outside isn't exciting but inside is very hospitable and inviting. Updated interior, good selection of beers on tap and food was very good (ordered from the lunch menu). Cheeseburgers weren't some fancy photo like a big food chain but were very good. Fries and tots done to perfection, nice and crisp & not greasy. Nice local spot to eat at and relax.
