The Gaslight Dining Saloon

Excellent food. Service good, a bit of a slow start, but picked up nicely. Waitress was absolutely charming, checking on us often, other servers smiling and helpful, but hostess QUITE Surley. Lol. Weird strawberry spiked lemonade, but beer and burger and Adult Grilled Cheese to die for!

Loved the food and the staff! Staff were helpful and patient. Made an excellent ice cream waffle sundae and burger!

We’d heard this was a go-to place from some locals. It didn’t disappoint.

The food was good, especially the Cajun jambalaya. We also had the country fried steak, which was good but you may want an extra side of gravy.

The Chislic was a fun, yummy appetizer, as was the Gaslight chips and cheese dip. Very hearty appetizer.

Service was great. They had live music, which was not the most amazing (on the night we went), but added to the fun atmosphere. Reasonable prices. Didn’t need a reservation for a party of 5 on a Friday night.

Would for sure go back.

Great food, fun atmosphere, and wonderful service. This place was recommended by a family friend, and it did not disappoint. We visited on a Thursday, and were excited to see they had live music that evening! :) The band played with a sort of Appalachian folk sound, and was wonderful! We had the Chislic appetizer - it was fabulous! We were given a charcuterie plate with delicious cheeses, prosciutto, fruit, and spicy walnuts - compliments of the chef. We still aren't totally sure why, but it was SO good, and so nice to be surprised with that - thanks Chef!! The Cajun Pasta was delicious, with lots of meat, and great flavor. The sweetness of the red peppers was a perfect compliment to the spices in the sauce. My mother had the Spicy Chicken Salad, and loved it. Our server, Nate, was very nice and personable. :) Would definitely recommend, and visit again!

Staying across the street so figured this would be a nice local spot to hit up. Lisa was so sweet. Prices were way higher than expected, my pasta was tasty except noodles were rubbery, but the kicker was waiting almost 15 minutes for an ice cream sundae. Overall a nice spot though.
