Fort Hays Chuckwagon Supper & Show

This bus tour is 1,000% worth it! We had an amazing time! Our driver was funny (especially going through the tunnel). We will never forget the mountain beavers! There is no better way to see Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse so you don't have to fight with parking! They give you plenty of time to feel like you really got to enjoy the monuments. The drive through Custer State Park and the Needles Highway was amazing! The driver stops at all the right places so you can take pictures! The breakfast was fantastic (the sausage is to die for) with all you can eat pancakes! Plenty of food for anyone! We opted for the lunch, which was buffet style at the restaurant and it exceeded all of our expectations! The fruit was super ripe, the beef was SUPER delicious, great salad, potatoes and dessert! The lemon bar is to die for! The chuckwagon dinner was SUPER organized, a lot of food that was really good (especially the beans which I am not normally a huge fan of). The show was super cute and fun! Very engaging to the audience and really funny! I just with the instruments were quieter so the singing could be louder, you could hardly hear them. All around an AMAZING day I would recommend to ANYONE!

The meal and dinner show were fantastic! We liked the chuckwagon experience with tin plates and cups, serving line, and group seating. We thought the entertainers were phenomenal--great singers and musicians--and they really kept the crowd involved! Lots of interaction. The show went by really fast!

Took the tour of Mt Rushmore, Needles Highway, Sylvan Lake, Crazy horse & Custer State park & Dances with wolves movie set tour. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner included, lunch an additional fee. This tour was amazing!!!! Such a great once in a lifetime experience!! Thrills and oohs and ahhhs. So well planned by this establishment. Such a great value for your money. Got to see so many things in one day!! If you want to spend a lot of time at these places, perhaps travel back. About 1 hour or so per stop. It is also an all day tour.. Yes, the bus is old, but it was cool & runs through some pretty tight spaces so you can understand why it's old and tight seating. (Only small complaint cuz I'm chubby) I did not stay for dinner & the show as I was on crutches and it's bench seating and the lady across from us had a disgusting cough... Lunch was very good at the stop in the park. My husband said his pancake breakfast was yummy. I skipped it. Very kind service and the tour guide was mellow and funny, yet not annoying like many tour guides. So glad we did this! Take a break from the driving and just see some stuff!! The sights will be forever in my favorite memories. Thank you!!

I can not say enough good things about our experience here. We did the sight seeing tour and the dinner. So they start you off with breakfast your choice biscuits and gravy or pancakes or BOTH! their pancakes were yummy. Then we had enough time to look at everything they had, really kid friendly stuff. Our guide Ken was full of information and was funny. After the tour we came back for their dinner show. I had gotten the brisket it was great my friend had gotten the chicken and it was moist and not dried out. Their show was great with amazing singers and they joked around. You could tell everyone here enjoyed their job even down to the little girl taking the dinner tickets. My only complaints and 1 was out of their control lunch at the state lodge the staff couldn't keep up with bringing food out and I know alot of people didn't get to eat much and because of this we spent alot of time inside trying to eat and we didn't get to look around the lodge. The other thing I feel like an hr at Mount Rushmore wasn't enough time for me. We ran behind getting to Sylvan lake so we didn't get time to look around. Ken offered to take pictures of us at Cathedral Spires and he snuck in a picture of him and I didn't notice to later and it made me laugh. My 4 young kids enjoyed this and well worth the money.

Our family had a blast! Delicious food and great entertainment. All the staff was amazing. Shout out to Herman for showing us how to make rope and telling us great stories! And String Bean stole the show!
