“Place was great! Wife and I had a great time in the Black Hills and coming back to our cabin every night was great. Very quiet. If we ever come back to the Black Hills, we know exactly where we’ll be staying.”

“This bus tour is 1,000% worth it! We had an amazing time! Our driver was funny (especially going through the tunnel). We will never forget the mountain beavers! There is no better way to see Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse so you don't have to fight with parking! They give you plenty of time to feel like you really got to enjoy the monuments. The drive through Custer State Park and the Needles Highway was amazing! The driver stops at all the right places so you can take pictures! The breakfast was fantastic (the sausage is to die for) with all you can eat pancakes! Plenty of food for anyone! We opted for the lunch, which was buffet style at the restaurant and it exceeded all of our expectations! The fruit was super ripe, the beef was SUPER delicious, great salad, potatoes and dessert! The lemon bar is to die for! The chuckwagon dinner was SUPER organized, a lot of food that was really good (especially the beans which I am not normally a huge fan of). The show was super cute and fun! Very engaging to the audience and really funny! I just with the instruments were quieter so the singing could be louder, you could hardly hear them. All around an AMAZING day I would recommend to ANYONE!”

“We’d heard this was a go-to place from some locals. It didn’t disappoint. The food was good, especially the Cajun jambalaya. We also had the country fried steak, which was good but you may want an extra side of gravy. The Chislic was a fun, yummy appetizer, as was the Gaslight chips and cheese dip. Very hearty appetizer. Service was great. They had live music, which was not the most amazing (on the night we went), but added to the fun atmosphere. Reasonable prices. Didn’t need a reservation for a party of 5 on a Friday night. Would for sure go back.”

“Restaurant Review: The Powder House restaurant food and service were excellent. The Pork shank and Powder House chicken were outstanding. We wanted to sit outdoors on their popular porch so we had to wait, but we were able to have a drink outdoors while waiting. Even though it was an hour within closing they got us in, fed us and were pleasant. Great customer service from the mature hostess as well as the server. Most dinners are between $10 and $20 per person.”

“On a trip of 10 days to several states, many towns, and a few cities, this was my favorite burger and fries. And ice cream. Take time to appreciate the setting from scenes in North by Northwest. It puts you right there. The food options here are plentiful and fresh. I had no problems needing gluten free. Don't pass up on dessert. The ice cream is so good. We got the vanilla (original recipe brought over from France by Thomas Jefferson). It's so buttery! Servings aren't stingy so you may want to consider sharing.”
