“Overall, this coffee establishment is quite refreshing and notable. There are several food options available to choose from, but the ham & cheese croissant is the most reputable accompaniment for my cup of caffeine goodness. The coffee packs a decent punch and leaves you refreshed and with just the right amount of pick-me-up to catapult you through the remainder of the day. The drive-thru is located way back towards the fence and snakes back around the building. The location is aptly situated, as it is not highly congested or packed with traffic. The staff are friendly, courteous, and welcoming every visit, and they ensure that you are made aware of the fact that the extra shots are actually double shots.”

“I like strong, strong coffee. I can get a 4 its still not strong enough. I'm convinced I'm charged for the extra shots, but they are not received. I am used to a big city with an abundance of artisan, cuban, any region, pick your bean and they'll roast them up and put your name on it ....the options are endless. I didnt realize how much I missed it until that rant. Sorry! But I guess I should say thank you for pushing me to learn how to make espresso and how your life can be changed by a milk frother. “Came in late just a few minutes before closing. Had been driving all day and had two hungry grandkids. We were met and treated kindly even though closing time was near. Our server didn't rush us or act hasty but have great service and we were leaving just after closing time. The owner Marinell is so kind & wonderful to work with. She really puts in the extra effort with every single detail and it shows. Amazing communication and customer service, which seems harder to come by these days, so it is very appreciated :) We've been both a customer for our family & parties, as well as a client, where Marinell prepares custom meals for our business - which we all LOVE!!!!!!!!! (as you can see in my photos, the food is absolutely beautiful and tastes amazing!) They also catered a custom taco bar for us that was a huge hit amongst our staff and clients for our holiday party. They handled the setup and provided everything for us, down to the plates, silverware & napkins. They think of everything and make sure that the pressure is taken off of you when it comes to the food! And it all tastes incredible! I couldn't say enough good things about Nell's Gourmet To Go. They have been a Godsend to us!! I recommend them 10/10!”

“The interior is welcoming, warm, and inviting. The establishment itself is aptly situated, as it is in proximity to many businesses that daily consumers typically utilize for daily needs. The food is quite decent, but the bacon was a bit off the mark and overall the food could have been bolstered with a bit more seasoning. There are a multitude of options on the menu though for the entire family. This was my first time at this location and my first time in quite a while at Perkins in general. The establishment has a Cracker Barrel atmosphere minus the wall decorations and the accompanying gift shops that Cracker Barrel is known for. The menu prices are very comparable to that of Cracker Barrel as well as the energy that is reminiscent of the good old-fashioned restaurant establishment experience. This establishment also offers pie by the slice or whole pies that are made on-site. Pam, our server, was absolutely top notch, as she checked on my guest and I frequently and always possessed a humble, welcoming personality and a warm smile that is infectious. With a bit more seasoning and a better bacon product, this establishment would improve immensely from a culinary standpoint. But the service is memorable and the food is not far off the mark, so I will be returning again soon.”

“We had lunch and dessert. The chicken pot pie had a non-traditional presentation (it was more like a chicken stew with crust mixed in) but it was delicious. The French Dip sandwich was completely average. We tried both the cherry and peach pies ala mode. The pie crust was obviously home made and was very good but the filling for both pies seemed out of a can. The vanilla ice cream was neither creamy nor particularly flavorful.”

“We visited this local breakfast and lunch restaurant while on vacation in Hot Springs. The restaurant is inside a bakery. I ordered the sausage and cheese omelet and declined the toast. I added a side if sausage gravy and it was a good thing I did. The omelet was dry and over cooked. I asked the server for salsa which she brought to our table. The salsa was served in a tiny plastic medicine size 'cup', about 1 tablespoons worth. It probably came from a jar or worse, a plastic jug. The sausage gravy was very thick, almost pudding like. When we ate it was about one hour before they closed, so the gravy was probably the best part of the meal for me. My companion ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs. She enjoyed her breakfast and was satisfied. I was disappointed. May go back on our next trip Hot Springs.”

(They know no strangers) We were promptly and warmly welcomed in with a smile as bright as the sun. ☀️ The food was delish! I added chicken to my veggie pesto panini and it was (chef’s kiss). The grilled chicken Caesar salad was fresh and crisp 😃 My daughter had the French toast and LOVED it! Amazingly beautiful building with gorgeous detailing on the walls and ceiling. (Was it an old malt shop many years ago?) Cute little tables and chairs encourage great conversations. Perfect place to stop in for a coffee, a bite, or just to sit for a bit. Until you’re ready to stroll down beautiful Hot Springs again, that is!”
