    Went for dinner mid-July on a Wednesday. Restaurant was closed at 5:30 PM. From the car we could see the inside lacked furnishings. Although, the walls and cabinets looked freshly painted. The only vehicle was a work truck parked beside the building. We couldn’t decide if the place had closed down or hadn’t yet opened...

    Found SCS on Google and thought some comfort food would be good so I went there for lunch (Saturday) at noon and the restaurant was closed.

    Everything was cooked perfectly! The dining area was clean and the staff was friendly. I will definitely be coming back.

    Delicious catfish, red beans with rice, whole fried okra, collards...we love this place!
