From observations, restrooms mar require upgrading to meet ADA standards. Service personnel are well mannered and all help has clean and pressed uniforms. “The overall experience at our neighborhood Applebee's was good! The staff was super friendly and the food was good! Wasn't to fond of our server he just constantly complained how bust they were and he kept forgetting stuff like napkins, wet wipes and other stuff he said he was gonna bring. We had to end up asking other staff that passed by for those items. Still the experience was good. The place was clean and the atmosphere was good.”

“Outback is one of those places that you can go over and over again. This one in Oak Ridge was surprisingly not busy at lunchtime on a Friday. I was looking for something soft as I had dental work done the previous day. I ended up with the unlimited soup and salad. The salad was fresh and crisp and the French onion soup was amazing. This Outback always impresses me with their friendly wait staff, great food and fantastic atmosphere.”

“The front desk lady was really nice and accommodating. Breakfast ends at 9, but she was nice enough to let me have a bagel and cereal after 10. Unfortunately my room had a lot of fruit flies thanks to some idiot that had food there prior to my staying. Also, one of the towels was dirty but neatly folded in the bathroom. It's a 2 star hotel ????”

“Very good service. The onion rings are breaded well and the onions don't come out of the batter when you take a bite. Fried pickles were also very good. Breading wasn't as thick as with the onion rings, but the pickles themselves are VERY good quality. Double Cheeseburger was HUGE! And delicious. John Boy and Billy Burger was also great! Recommend tots over fries. Traditional 50s style atmosphere. Loved the music AND the staff.”

“For this location only 5 stars. They always take care of me and my family. They make sure everything they use and touch is fresh, they keep all my food off the counter to make sure there is no cross contamination as I have celiac disease and have to be gluten free. This is the only location to do this for me and the only location that NEVER complains about pulling a fresh batch of tomatoes from under the counter, digging to the middle of the meats and cheese just to be sure it's safe for me, the only location to be happy to do it, smile and have a real conversation with me as they're preparing my food. Best of all, it's been a few months since I've been in to order..... they remembered me and my usual order!!! I couldn't remember what my family normally orders, long day in retail for all of us no one wanted too cook. These guys remembered me and what my family orders down to what goes on which sub!!!!”

No matter how long you've been gone, they remember you, welcome you with big smiles and remember what you like to order! Hundreds of people flock to their tiny restaurant, stand outside patiently in the elements even, just to get their cashew chicken and homemade egg rolls for less than you would spend for one meal at a fast food restaurant. The vibes are always positive, homecoming and it's inspiring to watch her and her husband happily work as a two man team. They are the ONLY reason I go to Oak Ridge. Nothing else in that town is worth seeing. O.R. is lucky to have such a memorable landmark!”
