“The scalloped and well worn front step is a good sign. A beautiful and fit hostess greeted me and led me to a seat with a table covered by a red checked tablecloth. A fresh and clean menu offered a wide variety of lunch options. Reasonable prices! Hot coffee and water appeared immediately and I quickly selected a 4 vegetable plate. Too often small town diner veggie plates are simply green mush or brown mush, but not here. Each vegetable is served hot in its own dish and was recognizable and uniquely flavored. A small cornbread pancake finished the plate. Delicious and pleasant dining. The place filled with customers as I enjoyed my meal. $12.38”
