Fonda on 12th | Nashville

So excited, excited to finally have Authentic Mexican food in Nashville! The atmosphere is fun, bright and lively, great for a girls night out but also a romantic dinner. They also have an awesome kids menu so family friendly as well. There’s lots of seafood on the menu, which is refreshing for Mexican food and the cocktails are amazing, especially loved the coconut strawberry Cocktail! Can’t wait to go back for lunch and breakfast.

Although we were sad to see Josephine leave the neighborhood, we could not be more pleased with the new restaurant occupying the space. While there are several other new and old Mexican restaurants within a few blocks, Fonda stands out as family-friendly with INCREDIBLE food. Everything our family was served was delicious - from the small to large plates to the non-alcoholic drinks and cocktails. We have a new place in our neighborhood we’re excited to go to for a night out with friends as well as family-dinners:)

The guacamole and frozen pomegranate margs were perfection. We loved the Mexican take on burrata!!! And the enchiladas were so delicious. The ambiance is great and the staff friendly and very knowledgeable. Can’t wait to go back!!!!

Best Mexican in town. Great appetizers - incredible guacamole and salsas, queso fundido is amazing. The "taco board" is a great concept - meat, vegetables, sides, and a stack of blue corn tortillas. Staff was so nice. The old Josephine space is great.

A food gem in the beautiful neighborhood of 12-South! Fonda is spectacular. You can't go wrong with anything you order. The drinks were top notch, food DELICIOUS and atmosphere/service superb. If you're looking for a great date night or night out with friends, go to Fonda!
