Absolutely best breakfast pancakes I've had. I order the sugar and spice pancakes. Coupled with their signature cinnamon syrup with a side of hash brown and bacon. The food was excellent and came fairly quick as well. Service was also very good. Would highly recommend.
Visited many years ago and loved it. Sometimes when you go back to a place it is not as good. This was not the case! Still great food, great service. I had the banana bread pancakes with pecans which were amazing! Enough left over for breakfast tomorrow and possibly the next day! Split hash browns with hubby, they were crisp, done perfectly! Also split the grits with cheese, not my favorite, but we came for the pancakes so we were not disappointed!
Looking for a late breakfast, I came across the Pancake Pantry. A quick glance at the reviews and I was sold. Would the reviews stand true? The sure did. From a friendly greet at the entrance, I was shown to my seat. The place was happen. Pancakes were being served left right and centre. I chose the recommended sweet potato pancakes with its signature cinnamon sauce and was not disappointed. Service was excellent with the ambiance of a true pancake house.
Listen! These are THE best and perfectly fluffy with fantastic flavor, hands down. Light and perfect. Fruit toppings were delicious, mini chocolate chips were mildly sweet and bananas were soft and fresh. Pecans had the perfect crunch! Hash browns are actually home fries. ... So chopped potatoes in chunks and panfried. They even had a variety of hot sauces.
If the line was around the block, I would not wait in that line. However, when I arrived, there was not much of a line, more like just a 15 minute table wait. The pancakes and accessories were very good and I highly recommend the chocolate chip pancakes. The hash browns were not really hash browns, more like potato wedges or home fries. Overall I'd say that it is a very nice place, but not worth the insane wait that can sometimes pop up. If I could give it a 4.2, I feel it is between and 4 and a 5 in rating.
