Ruby Sunshine

This was a neat little find ... sort of sandwiched between the Pancake Pantry and Biscuit Love #2 in Nashville. The wife and I had some medical appointments at Vanderbilt and decided to grab breakfast afterwards. The line at Pancake Pantry was pretty long and Biscuit Love #2 just didn't appeal to me ... but ... there was Ruby Sunshine right on the corner. It was a cool morning so we chose to sit on the patio. There's an eclectic "New Orleansian" vibe to the place! Service (from Lily F) was AMAZING!!! She was accommodating and attentive, too. The wife had the Spanish Omelette and I Built My Own (called the BYO Omelette) because they don't serve a standard Eggs Benedict. Neither of us were disappointed!!! The omelettes don't skimp on ingredients and the biscuits were light and fluffy. We always get bacon on the side ... and some have difficulty cooking it right (crispy doesn't mean burned) but Ruby Sunshine NAILED it! The whole experience was VERY pleasant ... nice environment/surroundings, attentive staff, AWESOME service and EXCELLENT food!!! I highly recommend Ruby Sunshine. Best part is, you can put yourself on the waiting list ahead of time online. Try it ... I promise, you will NOT be disappointed!

The Ruby Sunshine in Hillsboro village was a very nice experience today. The staff very friendly. Food very good. I was a takeout order, I’d advise to call ahead. The only disappointment was the French toast bites. Overcooked, more like croutons. Burnt on the edges It was a take out order so I didn’t see it till I got home, otherwise I would have sent it back. The person that cooked them couldn’t have not seen and known this when they put it in the take out container. They should have made new ones instead of knowing I wouldn’t notice till I got home.. and more than likely would just let it go. Hope they get to read this. Yes I’ll go back, but I’ll check any take out order. ?

Great service and the best breakfast

I absolutely love going to Ruby Sunshine! The food is pretty good and the atmosphere is great too. Their mimosas are very delicious (I suggest the Ruby Mimosa). It doesn’t help that I’ve been to this restaurant three times in one month lol. I’ll be back soon!

Wonderful! Chef and staff were very accommodating for my son who has multiple food allergies. Highly recommend.
