This was fun, treat for my daughter! Do one or two things Really Well, like Grilled Cheese and Milkshakes, and success will follow. Comfort food that takes an adult twist on a childhood favorite!
I wouldn’t say I’m a grilled cheese connoisseur, but I’ve had my fair share of them. I love being able to customize here. I did the buttermilk cheddar and swiss on the rosemary garlic bread. Came out hot and delicious! Cute space too.
I didn't love this as much as I really had hoped to. I tried the grilled cheese with the macaroni in it and I just didn't love it. I preferred my son's plain grilled cheese! Paying $45 for grilled cheese and tater tots was not what I expected either. The restaurant itself was pretty cool. It was like an old school diner/ice cream parlor and I thought that was pretty cool! Definitely a more "trendy" restaurant.
I'm not a huge grilled cheese fan so I didn't have big expectations but this place has some awesome grilled cheese sandwich creations. I had the turkey pesto grilled cheese and it was delicious. We also had a roast beef grilled cheese that was very hardy. The tator tots didn't look like much but were salty, crunchy, and delicious. They also make gourmet milk shakes that I'll have to try next time!
How can you go wrong with grilled cheese?! Stopped in here on a Saturday afternoon. Busy place, but the line moves quickly. I had a “build your own” sandwich with white cheddar and bacon. My one daughter also tried the tomato bisque soup, which was also excellent. Prices were very reasonable, especially compared to all the other places we ate in Nashville.
