“This is my most frequently visited Starbucks location whenever I'm in Nashville. Why? Efficienct baristas. An adequately spaced layout. Convenient central location. There's an outdoor patio with fireplace, decent parking, which is not easily found at some of the other downtown or central locations. You can easily walk to other Vandy area establishments nearby. Come early before the morning crowd or long after the rowdy crowds have passed through.”

“Fresh & trendy. Good rock music playing overhead. No menus, so look it up online or scan the code at the table. Also, bring your own artificial sweeteners if that's your thing. I got the chia pudding (wonderful) and the avocado toast (not a fan). The hotcakes (wonderful) are loaded with fresh fruit, fruit sauce, granola & a drop of cream. The orange juice is yummy fresh squeezed (really who does that anymore?). There's plenty of outside seating & corn hole.”

“I've been to a lot of coffee shops. NOTHING...and I repeat... NOTHING compares to retrograde. They use Onyx Coffee Lab beans and are precise in how they prepare it. I live 25 minutes away and make the drive just for the coffee. Sandwiches are good too. I stock up on whole beans (Onyx CK Southern Weather) for my home brews. Did I mention that this is the best coffee I've ever had? Vibe is great, too.”

“Went here for the first time. Food was cooked to order, so you do need to wait a few minutes but how can you complain about that when it's cooked fresh? Also asked for hot sauce, the green sauce is amazing. The red sauce is good too! Definitely packs some heat. I ordered the Tilapia special, it was a whole grilled fish. Salted to perfection. Served with rice (generous portion), salad and refried beans. Hubbs got the Nacho Fajitas. They were delicious! Lastly, we got large pineapple drinks. Wow. Not sure what all was in it, just suggesting that adding rum will make it even tastier! Would recommend going back. Just remember that you may need to wait a few minutes to get your food but there's a parking lot that you can sit in and smell the aromas fill your nostrils with some good food. I forgot to take photos before eating. It was the first Mexican meal since the lockdown and could not wait.”
