“We chose this location due to some high reviews from trip advisor. The food was excellent and so was our waiter. Marshall provided great conversation and very useful local recommendations until he started talking about politics for some reason. Marshall started talking about his love for Trump! I explained to him this is not the environment for that. He left, cams back, spoke of Obama killing his family. Left, came back, started talking about Hilary Clinton was the devil. We were floored that he kept discussing his political beliefs even after a customer spoke of her opposition views. Long story short, this incident really made us uncomfortable and should of never happened. My advice would be to tell waiter's to never speak of politics to customers, especially when they tell you otherwise. We'll be back because the food was excellent, however, we hope our experience next time with our waiters will be positive.”

“If you remember the Nashville Street Taco from 2nd Ave, this is not that. I know they have the same name, branding, and seemingly the same owners, but the Street Taco of old is gone. I came in from out of town to go back, and the food was fine, but even if I still lived in Nashville, I don't think it would be worth the journey. The people I was there with agreed, and it was only 30 minutes for them. Again, the food was fine, it is in no way bad food, it was just kind of flat. I can go to one of the deli style burrito spots near my house and get food with the same general vibe as the former Street Taco, and something with more flavor than the new Street Taco. While there over the weekend, I was able to try the Tatchos, Chicken Crisp, and Grilled Chicken Monster Tacos personally. Someone I was with also tried the Quesabirria which looked very good, but they also were not particularly impressed. I would not recommend the Crisp, it's basically just a tostada, but boring. If they ever decide to reintroduce elements from their old location's menu, I'll be sure to give it another try, but I don't see any draw at the moment. Their chips from before are unmatched. Also the sweet tea... get someone with some melanin to make it, cause that was embarrassing. Tasted like sugar water with a tea infusion.”

“Rana was a marvelous server! We came in with a party of seven near closing time and received five star treatment. The food was amazing! I had Parmesan Garlic wings. My friends ordered burgers and one friend had the charcoal bun burger. We had an appetizer order of fries, and it was huge and delicious! My other friend ordered the lentil soup, and she said it was very tasty! The baklava contained pistachios, and was delicious! The atmosphere is upscale and very clean. “We have had Raising Cane’s in other cities and we’re nervous to try this location due to the enormous line and it’s new build but we were amazed at the quickness of the service and how well the employees communicated. The store was nice and clean. The line for ordering was not very well thought out but that’s nothing the employees can fix. Secret menu item: black licorice shot and every savory sip tastes like black licorice. 😍 Why Not Be Sour is a sour patch kids shot 💜 We had the Shepards pie and it was soo savory and delicious we licked the bowl. “This is now my favorite breakfast spot in the Nashville area. The eggs and bacon are cooked to perfection. They handcrafted homemade sausage is to die for. I've never been a grits person but their grits are absolutely amazing. The French toast was fantastic. “Salento Italia, one of Donelson’s newest restaurants, is such a treat to have right down the street from us. My wife and I tried it for the first time on Feb. 24, 2024, and we will be back! We started with the antipasto plate and it was the best dish of the night. Superb quality meats and cheeses on this plate. She had the pappardelle bolognese, and I had lasagna bolognese. Both were very good, but we agreed the lasagna was the best. The drinks we ordered were also delicious. This restaurant has a very pleasant, cozy atmosphere. Our waiter could not have been any better. He got a big tip! The service was outstanding, which I think is as important as the quality of the food. So glad to welcome Salento to our neighborhood. Oh yeah, make sure to make a reservation. This place is busy. Update: We came back here for dinner on March 22, 2024, and it was even better … I think I found the best pizza in Nashville - the La Carne at Salento Italia. I promise, it will blow you away. They also have the best meatballs, paired excellently with polenta, that I have ever tasted. Truly impressive, tender, flavorful meatballs. The sauce and polenta are just as flavorful and the whole thing is a delight to the tastebuds, bite after bite. That’s part of why the La Carne Pizza is so good - toppings include pieces of the meatballs.”

“The atmosphere is ritzy, classic, and professional. You can look through glass to see the cooks making your food which is pretty cool. Our waitress was super sweet and asked about what we were gonna do in Nash for the bachelorette and gave us recommendations. The food was pretty good for brunch and the bacon was thick and scrumptious. They had mini preserves/marmalade for the toast as well as cute coffee mugs when you order coffee. She even gave the bride free mini chocolates which she loved!”
