SupperClub on Belcourt

We chose this location due to some high reviews from trip advisor. The food was excellent and so was our waiter. Marshall provided great conversation and very useful local recommendations until he started talking about politics for some reason.

Marshall started talking about his love for Trump! I explained to him this is not the environment for that. He left, cams back, spoke of Obama killing his family. Left, came back, started talking about Hilary Clinton was the devil. We were floored that he kept discussing his political beliefs even after a customer spoke of her opposition views. Long story short, this incident really made us uncomfortable and should of never happened. My advice would be to tell waiter's to never speak of politics to customers, especially when they tell you otherwise. We'll be back because the food was excellent, however, we hope our experience next time with our waiters will be positive.

Dallas the bartender was amazing, food price was upscale, but my lamb chops were cold, steak tasted a lil cheap, but chicken was on point!!

Very classy place that offers a mixed crowd (both white & black) great music & it's not so loud. I do suggest you make reservations because if not you will be seated at the bar. I can also say that the bar seating & service was phenomenal. We were treated great there were 3 bartenders tending to us. We didn't have to ask for anything. A little pricey but it's worth it for what they offer. Food was a 10 out of 10. Drinks are 10 as well.

I celebrated my birthday brunch here at this establishment! Our table was set and prepared. “O” took good care of us and was knowledgeable about items on the menu. Food was delicious and the ambiance is nice.

The ambiance and aesthetics are delightful, and the staff is incredibly attentive and friendly. The soul roll was absolutely delicious, and I definitely plan on returning for it. The combination of mac and cheese with yams and turnip greens was harmonious and tasted fantastic. However, I did find the dinner menu to be quite heavy and decadent. I would go back for only for brunch.
