India Mahal Restaurant

We ate early evening at the Taj Mahal. The exterior is humble but the inside is very clean and adult oriented. Service was quick, friendly and responsive. The foods choices were varied and plentiful. The food itself was delicious and served at the perfect temperature.

I have had the pleasure of eating at this restaurant for 18 years, and I can't recommend it enough. The majority of local customers visit for the lunch buffet, which is fairly straightforward with 2 to 3 meat options, multiple vegetable based options, and additional supplement options. The buffet is fairly mild with a stronger spicy sauce option available to enhance the spice level. The dinner hours is menu based and much more specific. These items are cooked to style and order. The owner/operators are lovely people. They work long hours and nearly the full week to support their business, and it never shows. I would recommend this restaurant, but would remind people that it is the equivalent of a hole in the wall establishment, which can be hit or miss based on your preferences. The quality is great, and the service consistent and familiar, and the food special and specific to the India Mahal name.

The food was delicious. The service was outstanding. The dining room was clean. The bread was brought fresh and hot to us at our table. It is a small buffet but exceptionally good.

Absolutely fantastic all around!! I would give more stars if I could. Such awesome friendly staff and wonderful food!
