(September 1, 2019, 11:02 am)Lots of bang for your buck sushi-wise. It really should be a 3.5 star rating but for Chattanooga it was pretty good for date night. A little dark (lighting) but very clean. Miso was awful and ginger dressing did not taste right. Rice had good texture and mediocre flavor but was the wrong serving temperature. Too warm. Fish assortment and flavor was quite good. We ordered sushi for two. Rolls were well made. (They have a good chef). Service was fast and courteous. Manager and server both did a check-in after the food was served which is always a good sign.

(August 7, 2019, 10:38 pm)Don't let the strip mall facade fool you. Kumo is the best value and quality sushi in Chattanooga. I'm sure their other dishes are fantastic, but the sushi has been the selling point for us. We have tried everywhere in town and make our own at home, but Kumo is our go-to.

(August 1, 2019, 1:27 am)food was awesome. we got the volcano roll with spicy salmon instead of spicy tuna, it was not SPICY but had a great flavor. the fried rice is really good with their special sauce and some soy sauce!! we had a great meal here
