I am a graduate student in the area, and if you're looking for a fun place to have a party or get together, no matter the occasion, Level Up is the place to go. The arcade games are great, and the live music or karaoke that they host really adds another level of fun. The food is good, and the prices are fair. Most importantly, the staff is SO friendly and accommodating. My grad program held our end of semester social here and we could not have asked for a more fun evening!”

“This place was excellent. The prices initially seem high, based on the description, but the portions are huge and the dishes are so much more flavorful and nuanced than the menu descriptions sound. I'm not sure what kind of sorcery they're doing to make the sauces so good, the mango BBQ sauce was so good that I essentially murdered the bun of my dining companion's sandwich while trying to drag my yuca fries through it. And the staff was super friendly and welcoming.”

“Amazing! Perfect tea room atmosphere. Perfect menu! Excellent tasting food. Today was the first time we've stopped at Chattanooga Merchantile and the tea room has been open. I am so glad it was! We loved it!!! The best Pimento Cheese....they must put it in a contest...I'm positive it would win! Salads were fresh. Everything is cooked daily. Quiches were perfectly cooked and amazing taste and perfect temperature. They have a kids menu as well and Gavin approves!!!! Don't miss this spot. Exit one TN/GA line on I75. Inside Chattanooga Merchantile. Open 11-3 I think it said daily. Also...they have rooms for rent. If you are having a bridal shower or baby shower or birthday or any event....if I lived here...it would be a perfect spot!”

The restaurant is extremely clean as well as the restrooms. The food was awesome probably the best in Chattanooga and definitely in East ridge. Lord willing we will get to come back a bunch. “First time eating here this morning for breakfast. The staff certainly don't seem very happy or friendly. As for the food, the toast was as dry and hard as a crouton, biscuit was doughy in the middle, over easy eggs were too runny, gravy was good and so were the home fries, ham was good, the bacon was neither crisp nor soft but more like yesterdays warmed over. No re-fills on drinks were offered. The experience was fair at best, but as for me, this was my first and last visit.”

And you'll definitely not go hungry because their portion sizes are huge. I LOVE bologna and their friend bologna sandwich is a huge bologna steak!
