“My family and I frequent this place. It’s our favorite Mexican restaurant. The food is so good! I’ve had the tamales, traditional tacos, Alambre Tacos, and Fajitas. So far, the Alambre Tacos were my favorite! My husband and son are stuck on the burritos. The Poblano burrito that my son gets, comes with an amazing and unique sauce! The staff are friendly, and their portions are good as well.”

“Today was my first visit to Southern Restaurant as I happened to be in the area. It is a typical, unobtrusive, home style southern eatery. The menu has many items from which to choose, daily specials, and dessert options. The server was friendly. The food was very good with large portions. I tried the Fried Chicken Livers, Okra, Turnip Greens, and Rolls. The food was piping hot and well seasoned. I would eat here again if in the area. Highly recommend for comfort food.”
