“I decided to give this place a shot and I was really surprised how good the food was. I liked it so much, I ate there four days in a row. I recommend the quesadillas. Extremely good and very massive! I also would clue you about the street corn as a side dish.”

“It recently opened and the food there is fresher than most gas station food. They got a seating area which is cool but I personally never used it, but I might in the future. It's the biggest gas station/truck stop in Bolivar. This might be my go to place in the morning before work. The only complaint is that it opens at 4 am and closes at 12 am midnight. So it closes 4 hours basically. I wish it was 24 hours 7 days a week.”

“I've ate at the Country Cafe quite a few times through the years while traveling through. Always good food. This go around I called in for a to go order, being exhausted from the day on the road. While I was paying, I asked the young lady(while I was looking into the bag)if the salad dressing and plastic fork and knife were in the bag for my hamburger steak and salad. She said yes they are, I continued looking and asked again. She said they were in the container with the food. So I took her word being other customers were waiting to pay. I arrive where I was staying to find no salad dressing or fork and knife. Luckily I had a long plastic ice cream spoon in my glove box.”

“Convenient location, but if you're passing through, skip it for gas. The most expensive gas between Memphis and Pulaski TN. If you have to gave Shell fuel, you'll have about 55-60 miles before you get to another Shell on Hwy 64.”

“Mixed Review? We were loyal customers before this restaurant changed hands. Some things have changed for the better/some for the worse. The staff is very attentive and helpful...but many do not speak English so get your Google translate ready! The manager is very friendly and helpful. We had a standing order for a certain wine/prosecco and he was very accommodating with us since we eat here several times a week. We are extremely happy with the staff. They are very hard working and will try their best to accommodate you and see that you are happy. The bad:. the food is just not as good. Period. I don't know how to say it better. It is hit or miss with the menu. Sometimes an order is a 'win' and sometimes it's a 'miss'. But mostly misses in our experiences. ( Cold food, tasteless, not traditional Mexican). We continue to come here for the wonderful staff and management, but the food quality is not compatible to the previous establishment. We are hopeful that the food will improve with time.”

“Simon's Fish Camp & Grill Sunday brunch was a great treat this morning. We were greeted and welcomed with big smiles and seated right away. The dining area was very nice and cozy. The bar area looked equally as nice also. We started with fresh salad greens and loads of fresh add ins from the salad bar. The chilled bowls were perfect! Next we went for the main event, the food bar. Crispy fried chicken, seafood jambalaya, slow roasted, hand carved sirloin and tri- tip, assorted vegetables and of course your breakfast favorites. My favorite vegetable choice was the sautéed squash, zucchini and onions. Cooked and seasoned to perfection but that sirloin won the show! Chef Rich, who was hand carving the meat, did it up right. It the most tender and well seasoned sirloin roast I’ve ever eaten. As an added bonus he was very polite and answered lots of questions.”

“Great Pizzas, especially the stuffed style!! Great burgers, great Polish Dogs, Hot Dogs are good, but the chili dogs aren’t that good. The chili has way too many beans, so it’s mostly beans & where I come from chili has no beans!!! The loaded fries or tots are good, but again the beans take away from everything else. I haven’t tried the milkshakes yet, but I’m guessing they are good, as well??”

“The meal served on a platter and was really good. The all-u-can-eat fried fish on Friday nights is fried perfectly, crispy golden brown batter but fluffy on the inside. Wasn’t too impressed with the taste of the slaw but you can substitute it for another side. However, they may have been short handed in the kitchen because it took an hour the night we went to get our first plate and 45 mins to get extra fish. Other than that they had excellent service and the people were very friendly. Good atmosphere for families.”
