Go for the music, not the food. Pizza is OK but my wife and I recently got chili, fish and chips and a veggie burger. Fries were decent but my wife could barely eat the veggie burger, and the fish was mostly over fried batter with a little off-tasting fish. Chuki was totally bland. There are so many great restaurants and breweries in Knoxville now that they really need to up their game. I appreciate that the owner responded and asked me to discuss, but I'm not much of a cook so I'm sure a private discussion wouldn't improve the food. There is no changing that we had a mediocre meal (in our opinion). We will go back some day, and if the meal is better then I'll update the review.
They make a good pizza, and they have a great selection of taps. The split between up and down stairs is a good change of pace between atmospheres. This is the only place in the old city I'd go on purpose.
Great place to go and wind down from the workweek by having a great appetizer and great pizza. The beer selection is hands down the best. Nothing like sipping on a cold milky and frothy pint of Guinness
Excellent: service, beer, food, quantity, variety, atmosphere! We all had leftovers but not because it wasnt delicious. The portions are huge! The large patio is dog friendly. They brought a bowl.of cold water out for my 2 dogs right away. (Just a warning to others who's dogs may be noise fearful- a train went by with its white blowing. It only happened once during the 2hr we were there.)
Always a top-tier experience. The food is excellent and the drink selection is hardly rivaled. This place has something for everyone. Upstairs is more of your typical bar atmosphere with pool tables and music, downstairs is a family-type restaurant with a rustic feel, excellent food, and often great live music. I highly recommend this place to anyone that hasn’t been there.
