I was really excited to try this place, but the ramen was not that great. The broth was missing salt and it had no body to it. The sushi was really great and so was the Japanese fried chicken. I would keep coming back for those two but the prices are way too high for what you get. I was charged $6 for a tiny skewer of corn. That's insane. If you want good ramen then you should probably go to Ramen Bones.
The decor is great. The atmosphere is amazing. Service is fast and friendly, and the food is delicious. Must try the J.F.C
By far the best ramen in town. In addition to the taps, they also have an excellent selection of regional craft beer in cans, such as the Homestyle from Bearded Iris.
Enter on Central for the restaurant or on Willow for the bar.
My boyfriend and I were visiting from out of town, and chose to eat at this place by recommendation of a local bartender saying it was new and worth checking out. The food was DELICIOUS and fresh, had no problems with any of it, but my entire experience was made incredibly awkward and tense by a woman working the food window area. We sat at the main food bar and the 3 men in the kitchen were doing a great job, but she seemed to have a small problem with almost every plate that they put out. I can appreciate wanting things to be great, but she was hovering and making everything awkward for everyone near her. If she is a manager, she should know that creating a happy environment is important and she did the opposite. It was uncomfortable to listen to the way she was talking to the other workers, as I’m sure it was uncomfortable for them...Probably won’t visit again if we are back in the area and too bad because the food was exceptional :( ... 5 stars for quality of food, one star for hostile environment
Best Ramen hands down. They brew the broth for 18 hours and all of the ingredients are freshly made. Not imported. A really great selection of local crafted brews and the popular imports. Will be back soon!
