Ok, when some people think of BBQ they think meh it's just BBQ right? Well not with Dead End BBQ! The atmosphere is comfortable, open and inviting. The burnt ends are really good and the mac and cheese is amazing! If your looking for good local BBQ, this is the place to go to.
I really like this place. They have a decent variety of options, and they're always good. I'm picky about restaurant BBQ, but they never let me down. It'd take it over any other BBQ in Knoxville easily. I also live in North Knoxville, so it's not super convenient to get to, but it's worth it. They make a good product, and it shows. Get the burnt ends.
Atmosphere! The food is good. The beer selection is great. The beer garden will totally rock this fall. Calm enough for family, quirky enough for the gang. And rock the 1982 World's Fair T's!
Ribs tasted really good. They are not thick and fatty but still tasty. Brisket could have been fattier and tastier. Would not get brisket again. I would recommend ribs, though!
Fantastically cooked pulled pork, burnt ends, brisket and ribs, however there was a lack of flavor in the meat itself. Which brings me to the reason why I rated Dead End 4 stars...the BBQ sauces! There are 3 flavors (mild, regular and hot) and each one brings so many layers and such a beautiful range that they really bring everything together for each meat in regard to taste. I recommend the pulled pork sandwich and you absolutely cannot leave without tasting their banana pudding!! It stole the show for me.
