“I've never ordered from the Bombay menu, but I've eaten at the buffet several dozen times in the years since the restaurant opened. It can be hard to counsel someone on Indian food because the taste is so unique. However, I can say that if you like the typical Indian buffet, you will probably like Bombay. Indian buffets tend to be less spicy than menu food, so if you aren't big on having your mouth burn, you might still give Bombay a shot. The buffet is small, but the variety of options is excellent. There are usually two spinach-based dishes, two chicken-based, two miscellaneous dishes, and several side/appetizer options. The sag (spinach) items are always good and not too spicy for those who are looking for something mild. I usually go for one sag and one chicken, the best of which is chicken curry. Two buffets, a water, and a soda runs around $24 plus tip, which is not bad for the quality. The service is polite and swift with drink refills. The actual restaurant is nicely decorated with typical Indian things - elephants, cultural sites, cities. Some of the furniture is pretty old but everything is in good condition. Overall, Bombay is probably my second favorite Indian restaurant in the Knoxville area and a great conclusion to a morning of shopping at Turkey Creek.”

“I have gone to this location twice now and I still think this restaurant is amazing. Great place for biscuits, they are delicious! Most of the items on the menu come with biscuits and gravy with added other mixtures of food. It is a well put together menu. I really appreciate the fact they have milk substitutes here because I am lactose intolerant. I did not expect a small business to have such substitutes. I really enjoy the environment here. The daily questions they ask and use your answer as your name provide humor and excitement through the room. As my uncle and I sat there for a duration of time either Sabrina or Pamela, I cannot remember which one it was, continuously checked up on us.
